Lake life…

We love the lake life!!! I don’t know what it is about the lake…that totally puts you at peace with the world and just lets you put everything behind you and just enjoy the moment. Maybe it is the sun on your face…the wind in your hair…the thrill of riding the wakeboard…seeing the pure joy on children’s faces…or the quietness that comes from the boat putting the children to sleep (ha ha)!!!

Here are a few moments from our day at the lake!!! Trey loves the thrill of trying new things…like his wakeskates…what a goof!!!! He is totally making a spectacle of himself for the children!!!

Skyler loved learning how to kneeboard on her own!!! She laughed & giggled most of the time and then she wuld have this serious face of concentration…she did not want to fall off while mommy was taking pictures!!! Gunner just loves to goof off on the Boat Dock!!! And little Gage just hangs out with momma on the boat or at the boat dock…always looking for shade, so he won’t get sunburned!!!

Yes, Skyler is 4 years old…Yes, those are my sunglasses…Yes, Skyler picked out the bathing suit…No, I DID NOT teach her how to pose this way!!! Apparently, my daughter is a future Sports Illustrated swimsuit model in the making!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On our recent trip to Sandestin, Florida…Skyler repeatedly asked us to take her picture as she posed for the camera…this over a 5 day period of time! Where did she learn this I keep asking myself? I know I am a little sassy…but really…it has to be Trey…was he like this as a child? I have to wonder…is this mine or Trey’s genes that are oozing out of my little tomboy? You never know…maybe she will be 5’9″ or taller and model all over the world one day!!!! Only time will tell…

Introducing Gage

Our newest addition to our family…Tyson “Gage” Vance. Isn’t he cute!!!! After a dramatic entrance into the world…stayed in the NICU for 7 days with wet lungs…he is at home and very healthy. He is now 3 months old and very, very loved by his bother and sister.

I am a stay at home mom of three children…Skyler (4), Gunner (2) & Gage (3 months). Trey and I have been married for 8 years and are still going strong. We have a house full of chaos, love & laughter at all times!!!!!

Knowing that I love the “Sex and the City” television show…Trey suprised be with two tickets for me and a girlfriend to see the movie on Saturday night at Campbell 16! When the guys dropped Suzanne and I off at the event (Parlor 88)…to our suprise we were standing on a red carpet (chessy, I know…but we loved it!) Next thing you know a girl walks over drooling over our shoes and had us take a picture for GO magazine. Once inside…it was madness. I have never seen so many women in one place…Bitcheness was oozing from the walls!!! Needless to say…Suzanne and I made our way to the bar for Cosmopolitians!!! Four cosmos each later…yes I said 4!!!

Laughing, Loud & Drunk…we stumbled onto a Limobus & headed to the movie theater!!! The movie was phenominal and well worth the wait. Afterwards…our hubbys’ picked us up and we headed to a local sports bar, The Fox and the Hound, where we woofed down chicken nachos. Man they were good!!!

It as the most fun night I’ve had in awhile…it would only have been better if some of this crazy family had been there to share in the Cosmos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
